Meet the Teacher

Dr. Nick Fox (MDiv, Bethel Seminary, PhD, London School of Theology) has been teaching New Testament Greek for over 8 years in colleges, universities, and seminaries, both online and in person. “When I learned to study the Bible in Greek—in the language of the early church—something clicked for me that hadn’t before. I have been exploring the Greek New Testament and working with engaged students ever since I first experienced it.” Nick has been published in several academic projects, including The Baker Expository Dictionary of Old Testament and New Testament Words (due out in 2022). He loves seeing people engage more deeply with their faith when they learn to read in the Bible in its original language. He also leads study trips to the Holy Land where people can experience the stories of Jesus where they actually happened. He lives in Minnesota with his wife, Angela, and their two dogs.

Testimonials

  • “Dr. Fox was one of my all time favorite professors. Translating the New Testament with him was a life giving exercise. He loves his students both academically and as Brothers and Sisters in Christ.”

    -Taylor, Justice Worker, Seminary Student

  • “Part of my success as a Greek student is due to Professor Fox's ability to incorporate easy methods for me and my colleagues to integrate and learn as we engage the text.”

-Adam, Youth Pastor, Northwest Hmong Alliance Church
